Ahhhh haven't gotten around to updating my journal here, so here's the basics.

• Chinese New Year went by pretty well! Got some spoils aka red envelops, but I won't open them for a few weeks for luck based superstitions thing.
• Feb 7th's my birthday, so I'm now 22!
• The past few weeks is basically "trying to survive roster and work hour changes cries at her day off being changed a lot".

I think I can get a general handle of things on my end. 

Also pretty happy to see this tweet from LEVEL 5 about Youkai Watch in English. Bring on the youkais! Which reminds me to catch up on the anime...if there's anyone subbing it after the first group dropped the series.

First of all.

Wow, I can barely taste the lychee flavour in this pudding. Should've went with mango in the first place.

Secondly, I feel a little less, hm, I say "stressed" nowadays since I actually stop procrastinating and do stuff I've been meaning to. Playing my PSP helps me relax whenever I feel bothered by my procrastination. Just a while longer until I beat P3P! Currently in December right now, woooo.

I'm also enjoying myself with watching Psycho Pass, which really engages me more than SAO lately. I guess it's because of the writing? It's easy to forget that Akira Amane of KHR fame did the character designs, so I stop thinking about who resembles who in KHR after a while. Maaaan, when's the last time an anime got my interest like this?

The only thing I'm worried about is missing episodes while on holiday in December. I could always marathon them once my hiatus is over.

I got my driving license last week, guys!

On a slightly less happy note, fandoms can be stupid.

First off, Hatoful!

Some kind people have been translating the second drama CD, Primal Feathers, on Tumblr! For Hato fans, it's...as crazy as you expected when one of the birdies is Anghel.

Track 1: Prologue.
Track 2: The Beginning.

Reading the translations made a few of my friends and I think the Hatoful cast would fare well in jamjar games. "Oh, we're in another world? Don't worry about it, just continue your self...study......zzzzzz..." "Senseiiiiii!"

I love the Hatoful fandom, except when people starts a pitchfork and fire mob over spoilers. Moa did ask to not post spoilers on Tumblr's Hatoful tag (since she follows it), but sometimes the way other fans go at it is...pretty embarrassing!

Now for DeSu!

The manga adaptation's out! The first chapter is up here in Chinese. It's interesting to see how they choose to portray scenes. And I think that poor guy in the beginning looks like a younger, happier Naoya.

Until he died. Whoops. But hey, Atsuro's adorable and awesome as always! And also, the MC is named Kazuya Minegishi. Which is a nice name, but I'll keep Kouki's name over at luceti . But it'd be interesting to see how Kazuya deals with the lockdown and his choice in the end. I also want to see how he rationalise his route deciding choice, too.

I've been considering a replay of DeSu for Amane's route for a while. Mostly so I can refresh myself on her muse, as well as see Atsuro's scenes, too. I'm still early in the playthrough, but I'm considering killing off Keisuke so I can see Atsuro's scenes and how Keisuke's death affects him.

A part of me want to do something new with Atsuro. Lately, I'm considering playing him from Naoya's Kill Humans!!! route, so I can explore his loyalties and feelings to Kazuya.

DeSu 2!

I've been trying out different characters lately. The Anguished One is kinda hard for me to play, but Yamato comes pretty easily to me. Not only that, but I'm gonna give Io a try. Out of the girls, Io is my favourite because of her Fate development.

Persona 4...

Frankly, sometimes the fandom over at Tumblr made me embarrassed to be a fan. I've been keeping my Tumblr to be strictly fanarts with commentaries and stuff. I avoid most of the discussion because jesus fucking christ, I don't want to touch the Naoto wank with a 10 feet pole. Thank god the DeSu fandom is relatively sane.

But still, I may not get P4 The Golden unless they bring it over to Australia. Same for Arena. I don't have a lot of hopes for Persona x Detective NAOTO being localised, so I just wait for the fans to translate it. The novel already pissed people off enough with Naoto's new appearance, when I just want to know what the story is and how they explain her new Persona (Amatsu-Mikaboshi, basically the Japanese god of evil).

Currently starting a NG+ replay. I feel like I need a refresher for Kouki (DeSu MC), Atsuro and Amane, plus YouTube doesn't have readily available videos of Amane's scenes. I could hit up one of the video LPs, but it'll take a while. Beside, I could do some small canon review for Atsuro, even if it's on a different route.

Going to aim for Amane's route, since I'm pretty familiar with Naoya's route for Amane enough.

...Man, the differences after playing DeSu 2 is obvious. ALL THE RED.

I swear I'll do a proper review post for this.

Got Yamato's route (because I'm biased) and Daichi's Restore route. I could've gotten Daichi's True End if Ronaldo joins me. BASTARD.

Need to decide between AO's route for Yamato feels (and better for writing his app) or Ronaldo's route. I can tackle Daichi's Liberator route later.

Now that I look at it, plus what real life decided to do in the upcoming weeks, I might have to go on slowatus in my games. If it comes to it, then mayba hiatus?

Otherwise, I'd be slow for this week and possibly the next week. I have school work to do, so I need to focus on them.
